The people behind Christmas FM are responsible for 'This is Ireland'

If you like your radio stations to have a novelty theme and you're already counting down the days until Christmas FM makes a return to the digital airwaves, there's good news.

St. Patrick's Day is once again going to be a very different affair this year, with no parades or gatherings taking place - so instead, we're going to have to make the best of celebrating our national day at home.

One thing that may help on that front is 'This is Ireland' from the team behind Christmas FM - a pop-up one-day-only radio station that will broadcast via ChristmasFM.com and the app on March 17th.

The station, which is a trial run for 2021 with a view to running an expanded station in the future, will celebrate Ireland via music and stories, and will "explore the songs and stories of Ireland and the influence of Irish culture across the globe, from the past to the present day."

You can also send greetings to Irish friends and family across the globe by recording your message on your phone (30-60 seconds max) and emailing it to ireland@christmasfm.com.
