Here's some news that doesn't exactly have us crying into our Corn Flakes this morning: Chris Brown has said that his next album will be his last.
A tweet posted to the rapper's official Twitter account has stated that Brown is contemplating hanging up the mic once his next album is released.
He wrote on Twitter: "Don't worry mainstream America. After this 'X' album, it'll probably be my last album. Being famous is amazing when it's for ur music and talent. I'm tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I'm cool & over it! (sic)."
Brown was sentenced to 80 hours of community labour, five years probation and required to attend a 12-month domestic violence counselling programme after being convicted of a brutal assault on his then girlfriend Rihanna.
Despite his apparent wishes to step out of the limelight, Brown's five year probation was revoked recently after the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office believe he was involved in a hit-and-run incident in May. Brown also landed in hot water for an alleged assault by him and his bodyguards on Frank Ocean over a disputed parking space back in January.
Whaddaya reckon, will anyone actually miss Chris Brown? People obviously buy his albums and tickets to his concerts....just no one that would admit as much to me. Sound off in the comments section below.
