Canadian indie rockers Islands were set to play The Hub on September 20th but due to plans for refurbishment the gig has now been moved to The Underground @ Kennedy's of Westland Row.
This is a great opportunity to see this unique band, who have ties with other such Canadian favourites as Arcade Fire and Wolf Parade, in such an intimate and atmospheric (that's code for small and dank) venue. Last time they were here they filled Whelan's, playing their intricate high energy pop to a highly appreciative audience.
