The Academy is launching a new night for up-and-coming and unsigned Irish bands. NewSounds @ The Academy will take place on the last Thursday of every month beginning this Thursday February 26th.
Creating a perfect opportunity to catch bands that could become stars of tomorrow, NewSounds presents hotly-tipped Dublin blues rockers The Brothers Movement to headline their opening night. The gig will also introduce the Derry band Here Comes The Landed Gentry - another whisky-sippin', throaty-voiced, good time rock n' roll band.
