Now that we know for sure that Adele is not doing the Super Bowl halftime show next year, attention has turned to finding a performer who might be able to fill that role.
A viable candidate for the huge gig is Britney Spears, who releases her new album 'Glory' today and is no stranger to playing to big crowds. It seems that she is up for the challenge, too, if her interview with Scott Mills on BBC radio the other night is anything to go by.
When questioned about whether she'd be interested in the gig, she said: "Yes, I would probably do that. I would have to have a little support group, another artist, of course. I don't think you would ever do the Super Bowl alone. That would be kind of scary."
Already, fans are going into meltdown at the mere thought - but considering the number of iconic costumes and looks that Britney has rocked over the years, it would certainly make for a good 12-minute show, if done right.
