The singer uploaded a video to her Instagram
Global superstar Britney Spears has put fans minds at ease by uploading a video to say that she is doing just fine.
A couple of weeks back, it was reported that Britney Spears had checked herself into a mental health facility. The self-diagnosis was believed to have been because of her 66-year-old father falling ill, after two surgeries have failed to make him better. The singer was not able to cope with her father's situation. She posted a picture on her social media, saying "We all need to take time for a little 'me time' :)."
In a new video uploaded just hours ago, Spears has reassured fans that "all is well." She said in the video:
"Hi guys, just checking in with all of you who are concerned about me. All is well. My family has been going through a lot of stress and anxiety lately, so I just needed time to deal. But don’t worry, I’ll be back very soon."
She also captioned the photo, saying in quite a lengthy statement, alluding to "fake emails" that have been in circulation:
"I wanted to say hi, because things that are being said have just gotten out of control!!! Wow!!! There’s rumors, death threats to my family and my team, and just so many things crazy things being said. I am trying to take a moment for myself, but everything that’s happening is just making it harder for me. Don’t believe everything you read and hear. These fake emails everywhere were crafted by Sam Lutfi years ago... I did not write them."
