Leading musician and judge on the hit TV show ‘The Voice of Ireland’, Bressie will take centre stage at this year’s Bandon Music Festival, which takes place in the West Cork town this June bank holiday weekend (June 2nd to 4th).
Other acts on the main stage at this year’s festival will include indie-rock band Fred, who are currently touring Canada with their new album. The Bandon Music Festival will also feature up-and-coming folk-rock-blues band The Hard Ground and J90.
Established in 1997, the Bandon Music Festival has grown organically into one of Ireland’s leading independent music events. The three-day festival has earned its reputation by attracting big name acts including The Undertones, Mundy, Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club, Aslan, the Saw Doctors, Sharon Shannon, Republic of Loose and Fight Like Apes. The festival’s mixture of traditional sessions, folk and rock music means there is something for everyone over the weekend.
