Justin Vernon, better known as the man behind Bon Ivor, is to release a collaborative album with the Collections of Colonies of Bees, under the title Volcano Choir. He told Pitchtfork.com that he started collaboration with the Wicsonsin group three years ago, and when they had nine or ten tracks done, they decided to release an album.
'I sing on it, but there aren't a lot of lyrics - it's definitely more on the experimental side of things.'
The album is to be called 'Unmap' and is due for release on September 22nd on Jagjaguwar. The tracklist is below:
