Those of you still hoping to get your mitts on some tickets for this weekend's Body&Soul festival had better act snappy. Weekend tickets are now completely sold out (for the fifth year running!) and a handful of Sunday day passes remain available online at a price of €55.
The main stage will open this evening (Friday) with a special performance from Darkside, made of producer Nicholas Jaar and guitarist Dave Harrington), while Jape has also been added to Saturday's list of attractions.
As per usual, Body&Soul have pulled out all the stops in making Ballinlough Castle festival fit. A team of organisers have been camped on site for the previous three weeks, setting up the myriad art installations and other bespoke treats which lie in wait for festival fans this weekend.
8,500 people will be in attendance this weekend and festival director Avril Stanley maintains that, even if you've been to Body&Soul before, you're still in for a unique treat.
"This line-up is probably the best we have ever had and the production in terms of art and stage installations is just stunning", Stanley said. "We can't wait to welcome everyone onsite to the festival and celebrate this special birthday with us!"
Body&Soul will showcase performances by Caribou, Gary Numan, Goldfrapp, Jon Hopkins and many more over the summer solstice weekend.
