The saga rolls on: having announced his intention to reform Blur, then backtracked, then had his former songwriting partner backtrack (ad infinitum), Damon Albarn now claims that Blur will reform for rehearsals in 2009.
Speaking before a performance of his opera 'Monkey: A Journey to the West' in London last night, Albarn told DJ Janice Long that all four members were 'certainly going to rehearse and see if [they're] into it'.
Albarn and guitarist Graham Coxon have both been vague about reunion plans in the past. Watch this space.
