Well, this is promising news for anyone hoping for a large-scale Blur tour next year. After closing the London Olympics with a massive concert in Hyde Park, Damon Albarn and co. seem to have caught the gigging bug once again.
The Britpop icons will headline the Rock Werchter festival next July (4th-7th) in Belgium and is the country's biggest festival, attracting 140,000 punters annually.
Rumours have been rife for some time that Blur have been/will be working on new studio material, alongside the two new tracks which were written for the Hyde Park show ('Under The Westway' and 'The Puritan').
