She made the comments in a new interview with David Letterman

Billie Eilish has been open about living with Tourette's Syndrome in the past, with the pop star revealing in 2018 that she was diagnosed with the condition as a child.

The syndrome is a neurological condition that causes sufferers to have involuntary verbal or physical tics. Eilish's tics are physical.

Now, she has spoken more about living with the condition in a new interview with David Letterman on his 'My Next Guest Needs No Introduction' series on Netflix.

"If you film me for long enough, you’re gonna see lots of tics,” she said, having experienced a tic mid-interview and explaining that she is happy to talk about the condition. She claimed that several high-profile artists had also admitted to her that they suffer from Tourette's, but said "I’m not gonna out them because they don’t wanna talk about it, but that was actually really interesting to me.”

However, she did add that many people's reactions to her tics left a lot to be desired. "The most common way that people react is they laugh because they think I’m trying to be funny," she said, "and I’m always left incredibly offended by that."

She also revealed that her tics don't happen when she's performing, but others are regular. 'These are things you would never notice if you’re just having a conversation with me," she said. "But for me, they’re very exhausting.”
