The song is inspired by Netflix's Golden Globe winner

It seems Billie Eilish likes to stay on trend.

17-year-old singer/songwriter Billie Eilish has today released a brand new song 'When I Was Older.' The song is inspired by Alfonso Cuarón's Spanish-language film 'Roma.'

'Roma' bagged two Golden Globes on Sunday night; it won Best Foreign Language Film, as well as Best Director for Cuarón. The movie is available to stream on Netflix, and follows a year in the life of a middle-class family's maid in Mexico City in the early 1970s.

On her new track, Eilish sings "Guess I got caught in the middle of it [...] Yes I’ve been taught got a little of it in my blood [...] In my blood."
