It's the first track from her forthcoming album 'Renaissance'
We were told just last week that a new Beyoncé album was on the way - and sure enough the first single from it has just dropped.
Her first track from 'Renaissance' is called 'Break My Soul' and was released first on Tidal, the streaming platform co-owned by her husband Jay-Z, in the early hours of this morning.
The song opens sees 40-year-old singing "Bey is back and I'm sleeping real good at night," with other lyrics including "Release your anger, release your mind / Release your job, release the time / Release your trade, release the stress / Release the love, forget the rest."
Rapper Big Freedia also appears on the track.
The album, her first since 2016's 'Lemonade', is out on July 29th.
Many people have been surprised by the musical direction the song takes, with an emphasis on '90s dance and house music due to its sampling of Robin S.'s 'Show Me Love'.
