Queen Bey has produced and curated 'The Lion King: The Gift'

The world premiere of 'The Lion King' took place last night in Hollywood, and as the first reviews and reactions to Jon Favreau's film begin to roll in, so too has a treat for Beyonce fans.

The singer, who voices Nala in the film, also features on the soundtrack.

We'd previously heard a snippet of her singing 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight?' with Donald Glover aka Simba, and now a full-length brand new song has arrived.

It's called 'Spirit' and is taken from a new 'Lion King' compilation album that was produced and curated by Beyonce. It is separate to the film's official soundtrack, but will be released on the same day - July 19th.

Beyonce said of 'The Lion King: The Gift': “This is a new experience of storytelling.  I wanted to do more than find a collection of songs that were inspired by the film. It is a mixture of genres and collaboration that isn’t one sound. It is influenced by everything from R&B, pop, hip hop and Afro Beat.”

The full tracklist and artists featured on the album have still TBA, but hear 'Spirit' below:
