Bell X1's David Geraghty is to support the release of his second solo album The Victory Dance, by playing instore at HMV, Grafton Street, this Friday August 28th at 6pm.
But let us not just refer to Geraghty as the bloke from Bell X1. He released his first solo album, Kill Your Darlings' in 2007, earning himself nominations for the Choice Music Prize and two Meteor Awards that year, while his new album, The Victory Dance, offers more soft bluesy guitar and piano led tracks. Recorded in West Cork, the album was mixed by Tim Marton, known for his work with The Waterboys and is co-produced by Greg French who has worked with U2 and Van Morrison to name a few.
As well as performing live, Geraghty will also sign copies of The Victory Dance in HMV on the day of its release.
David Geraghty is also set to play the following dates across the country:
Crawdaddy Stage at Electric Picnic – 5th Sept
The Pavilion, Cork – 9th Sept
Roisin Dubh, Galway – 11th Sept
Dolan's (upstairs), Limerick – 12th Sept
De Barra's, Clonakilty – 13th Sept
