The BBC's annual "Sound of..." poll is not only extremely accurate in predicting which new and up and coming acts will be all over our music boxes each year, but is simultaneously instrumental in their rise to fame.
The Sound of 2010 longlist has been compiled by 165 people, and features 15 new bands and artists. The list will eventually be whittled down to the top five who will, in all likelihood, go on to be some of the biggest names of the coming year. It's a pretty excellent selection, featuring Bangor's own Two Door Cinema Club.
