Montreal's Arcade Fire have yet again sent fans into a spin, by leaving a mysterious cryptic clue on their official website.

A clip of previously-unseen live footage has been posted on the band's homepage, leading fans to believe that they'll announce the release of a live DVD in the coming days.

A site dubbed 'www.miroir-noir.com' has been set up, which displays footage of the Canadians on tour and the message 'MIROIR NOIR - Neon Bible Archives: Coming Soon'.

It is believed that the DVD, which is French for 'Black Mirror', a track taken from their second album, will feature a concert from their extensive 'Neon Bible' tour, and was directed by filmmaker Arnold Moon.

The Win Butler-led troupe are currently taking a break to record their third full-length album, but Butler is rumoured to be teaming up with fellow Canuck Owen Pallett (aka Final Fantasy) to work on music for the new Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko) film, 'The Box'.

[UPDATE: It's released today, Monday December 15th].
