The Irish Music Television Awards took place in The Academy last night, recognizing the best music videos produced by Irish artists this year.
We're absolutely delighted to see The Ambience Affair pick up the gong for overall Video Of The Year as well as the award for Most Original Concept for 'Devil in the Detail'. The duo, guitarist and vocalist Jamie Clarke and drummer Mark Gallagher, are one of Ireland's most promising outfits and after two wonderful EPs we're hugely looking forward to a debut album from them, whenever it may surface. More importantly it's a beautiful and most deserving video directed by Souljacker, created entirely from over 15,000 still photographs on a Canon EOS 400D DSLR and shot on location in the Wicklow mountains.
