It's been a long time coming but it looks as though this year might see the release of Adele's third album, if a rather cryptic tweet which appeared on the singer's official Twitter account over the weekend is to be believed.
The message celebrated the singer's impending 26th birthday but hinted that she would see '25' again later in the year. Adele's previous two albums, '19' and '21', were both named after the age she was when she wrote them which has - as you might have expected - led to huge speculation that her third release will see the light of day before 2014 is out.
OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder and, perhaps more oddly, Phil Collins have both hinted in interviews that they have helped Adele construct songs for the impending record. Tedder, of course, co-wrote previous Adele tracks 'Rumour Has It' and 'Turning Tables', among others.
