50 Cent's appearance scheduled for the Carphone Warehouse in the Dundrum Town Centre tomorrow afternoon has been cancelled following remarks the rapper made on Twitter. The 'In Da Club' singer was set to meet fans and sign his range of headphones.
However, the Carphone Warehouse have admirably cancelled Fiddy's appearance on the back of remarks he made about autism on Twitter. In his Tweet, 50 Cent derided one of his followers for "looking autistic".
Carphone Warehouse released a statement saying the following: " To all our fans and customers, We wish to assure you all that we entirely appreciate all of your responses in regards to the visit of 50 Cent and would like to take this opportunity to reinforce that we as a company value each and every one of our customers. We appreciate that 50 Cent has issued an apology in relation to his recent comments however we have decided not to go ahead with the event on Wednesday."
