Here are the big releases on the way this month
Are you bored with your current playlists? Looking for something new to check out this month? We’re here to help.
Below, you’ll find five of the biggest albums set for release in February.
LISA O’NEILL - ‘All of This is Chance’ [February 10th]
Cavan’s finest returns with her fifth album, and her first for prestigious indie album Rough Trade. The folk musician has ploughed her own distinctive furrow all the way through her career, and new track ‘Silver Seed’ suggests that she remains steadfastly on that trajectory for this record - which has already been described as “The first indisputable classic of 2023” and “Uncompromising, stunning, soul-shaking stuff.”

INHALER - ‘Cuts & Bruises’ [February 17th]
Eli Hewson and his bandmates delivered a solid, promising indie-rock debut in 2021’s ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’; will their second album finally see Bono’s lad and his bandmates shake off the ‘nepo baby’ tag once and for all? Perhaps not - but the soaring, atmospheric chorus of songs like ‘These Are the Days’ certainly suggests a newfound confidence within the band.

P!NK - ‘Trustfall’ [February 24th]
It’s always been hard to pigeonhole P!nk. A pop star who has flirted with r’n’b and a theatrical stage set-up in the past, her ninth album features guest appearances from folk duo First Aid Kit, The Lumineers and country star Chris Stapleton. However, it also features tracks produced/co-written by pop svengali Max Martin, Fred Again and even our own Johnny McDaid. It’ll certainly be worth a listen.

ADAM LAMBERT - ‘High Drama’ [February 24th]
From American Idol to Queen, Adam Lambert has been on quite a journey. The pop-rock star with the monumental voice is trying something different for his new solo release: it’s a covers album. Here, Lambert puts his stamp on an eclectic mix of songs from Duran Duran, Billie Eilish, Culture Club, Kings of Leon and more.

GORILLAZ - ‘Cracker Island’ [February 24th]
Everyone’s favourite fake band are back with their eighth album. ‘Cracker Island’ sees Damon Albarn lead his virtual troupe of musical misfits on another adventure - this time with contributions from Beck, Thundercat, Tame Impala, Stevie Nicks and more.
