Here are the biggest albums released this month

Are you bored with your current playlists? Looking for something new to check out this month? We’re here to help.

Below, you’ll find five of the biggest albums set for release in March.

ARIANA GRANDE - 'Eternal Sunshine' [March 8th]

It’s shaping up to be a big year for Ariana Grande, with the first of the ‘Wicked’ film adaptations hitting cinemas in September - but her musical career hasn’t fallen by the wayside. This is her first album since 2020’s ‘Positions’, and the pop star has had a hell of a lot to process since then - not least her marriage and divorce to property agent Dalton Gomez. Described as a “kind of concept album’ featuring “different heightened pieces of the same story, of the same experience”, much of the album was written with pop GOAT Max Martin.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE - 'Everything I Thought It Was' [March 15th]

He’s back - and (possibly) has a lot to say and (possibly) even a few scores to settle. Justin Timberlake’s last album ‘Man of the Woods’ was a certified flop, so Mr. JT has a lot to prove with his sixth solo album. It includes collaborations with his former N*SYNC bandmates on ‘Paradise’, as well as Nigerian star Fireboy DML and American rapper Tobe Nwigwe.

THE JESUS AND MARY CHAIN - 'Glasgow Eyes' [March 22nd]

After forty years in the business, it seems that The Jesus and Mary Chain still have plenty lefty to say. The Scottish rock icons return with their eighth album, returning to their hometown of Glasgow to record together, with the Reid brothers taking a more synthesised and experimental slant this time around.

ELBOW - 'Audio Vertigo' [March 22nd]

They are now firmly established as one of the most solid British bands of their generation, so where do Elbow go from here? The Manchester band’s last record ‘Flying Dream 1’ was very much a pandemic album, in that it was written remotely; this time, Guy Garvey and co. have regrouped for their landmark 10th album - let’s see what they have in store this time around.

BEYONCE - 'Act II' [March 29th]

‘Beyonce’ and ‘country album’ are two things we never expected to utter in the same sentence, but if anyone can do it, Queen Bey can. The follow-up to 2022’s ‘Renaissance’ was influenced by the genre, although the pop icon has dabbled in the genre in the past, with songs like ‘Daddy Lessons’; this swerve into country music has been influenced by her desire to tell the overlooked stories of black and Native American cowboys in the 19th and 20th centuries.
