A dramatisation of the events leading up to Orson Welles' infamous production of The Cradle Will Rock, which was closed down by the America military on the eve of its opening during the '30s, Cradle Will Rock might be overtly political but is a hugely enjoyable film for all that. A strong cast is headed up by John Cusack and Tim Robbins directs.
