When a storm hits during one pilots flight, he's forced to make a landing.
Commercial pilot Brodie Torrance (played by Gerard Butler) completes an emergency landing after a ravaging storm damages his aircraft. The plane lands on the hostile island of Jolo, the Philippines. And soon, the passengers are taken hostage by the local militants of the island.
