Heavily in demand Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick will make their directorial debut with the dark comedy Doc and Howie, according to Indiewire.
The film wasn't written by the lads, but will centre on two "lazy hipster" types who accidently kill an old lady after refusing to help her carry her groceries up stairs. When her hot granddaughters turn up for the funeral, and make it clear they fancy them, complications ensue.
Reese and Wernick have recently handed in drafts for G.I. Joe 2 and Deadpool - both of which gave preproduction on each film a kick up the arse. Expect mildly starry names attached soon.
