Everybody knows the American story of well known outlaws Bonnie and Clyde; so ingrained is their story in pop culture, even Beyonce and Jay Z wrote a song referring to the pair of Depression era bank robbers. What's not so well documented in movies though, is the story of Bonnie and Clyde's killers. And that's something Universal Pictures want to cash in on. Apparently, they're in line to begin work on a movie with this exact focus, and we're hearing rumours from Deadline that Liam Neeson and Woody Harrelson could be in line to star as the two Texas rangers who hunted down the infamous duo.
The movie currently has the tentative name, Highwaymen.
With The Blind Side director John Lee Hancock at the helm, it's these two Hollywood A-Listers that he has set his sights on. While we can certainly imagine Harrelson in the role - we especially enjoyed his recent Seven Psychopaths performance - we're not so sure about Neeson with a Southern American accent. What do you think?
