The 25th Bond movie won't hit cinemas until November
There's just No Time to re-edit...
No, that's not actually the reason for 'No Time to Die' won't be reworked in the coming months. We're just being clever.
Everyone is well aware by now that the 25th James Bond movie won't be hitting the big screen until later this year. It was originally meant to arrive in cinemas early this month.
Numerous other movies have since followed suit and delayed their release dates due to the current situation.
Cary Fukunaga, the director of the film that will see Daniel Craig on his final outing as 007, has now revealed why he's not going to take advantage of the next few months to play around with the edit.
On Instagram, a fan asked: "Can't wait for November. Did this allow you to extra trim it and polish it ??"
Fukunaga answered: "Some people have asked me this and although time would have been lovely, we had to put our pencils down when we finished our post production window...
"The short answer is money. Although Bond is a big movie, we still have to weigh cost with value. And like anything, you could tinker endlessly. The movie is great as it is, hope ya’ll will feel same too when it comes out."
So there you go, it's always about the moolah.
'No Time to Die' arrives in theatres 13 November, 2020.
