As you know, re-edits of classic trailers are pretty common and, more often than not, we don't really focus on them.

However, this one caught our attention and it's easy to see why - it's incredible. Made by a Thai-based video editor, the trailer takes its footage from the original trilogy; that's 1977's A New Hope, 1980's The Empire Strikes Back and 1983's Return Of The Jedi.

What's interesting about it is that, as well as having a full understanding of what the whole story is, it also uses a lot of modern trailer techniques to hype the whole thing. It's strange, in a way, to think of how modern trailers have become much more focused on telling the entire story - or at least, the parts they want to promote - in the space of two minutes.

Anyway, this trailer's definitely got us excited for a film that's been out for thirty years and we've seen hundreds of times. That, in our definition, is a good trailer.

Take a look.
