The trailer for Tina Fey's new comedy Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, has arrived online.
Fey plays Kim Barker, a reporter sent to Afghanistan because as the trailer puts it she's one of the only "unmarried, childless personnel" at her station.
Based on a true story, the film documents her adventures and the insane characters she meets while on the ground in Afghanistan.
We have to say this one looks like it could be wildly entertaining with Fey's typical witty charm trying to navigate through the politics of the war zone. Margot Robbie and Billy Bob Thornton are on hand to guide her through the lifestyle while Martin Freeman plays a journalist who most likely has a thing for her. Most exciting of all however is Alfred Molina who plays an arms dealer intent on wooing Fey.
Home and Away fans will be delighted to learn that Steve Peacocke, AKA Darryl Braxton has a supporting role but considering he doesn't utter a line of dialogue in the trailer we imagine he'll mostly function as eye candy.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot will be out in Spring 2016.
