The latest trailer for Pixar's next release, Coco, has landed.
The film centres on the Mexican holiday of Dia de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead). As the narrator tells us in the trailer, "Once every year, our ancestors come back to our world to see family and friends. But no living person has ever visited their world — until now."
The main character in the film is Miguel (newcomer Anthony Gonzalez), a boy who dreams of becoming an accomplished musician. Following a strange series of events, he finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead. Together with trickster Hector (Gael García Bernal), they set off on an epic adventure to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history and get him back to the land of the living.
Long time Pixar director Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3, Monster Inc.) co-directs this one alongside Adrian Molina.
The film also features the voice talents of Benjamin Bratt and Renée Victor.
