At long last, we finally have an idea of what The Last Jedi will look like and it's pretty damn spectacular.
The trailer was launched at this year's Star Wars: Celebration event, which was also the 40th Anniversary of the release of the first Star Wars film, by the cast of The Last Jedi, director Rian Johnson and Lucasfilm head-honcho Kathleen Kennedy.
Speaking before the trailer, a number of tidbits were teased by the cast. Daisy Ridley compared Rey meeting Luke Skywalker to "never meeting your heroes," whilst Rian Johnson explained that, at the beginning of The Last Jedi, the galaxy is in chaos and the First Order are capitalising on that.
So, what do we know from the trailer? Well, not a lot - except that Luke Skywalker has lines and that it's definitely a lot darker than we expected. Skellig Michael also features prominently.
The Last Jedi will be released here in Ireland on December 15th. Take a breath and hit the play button.
