With Comic-Con blazing up a storm this weekend in San Diego, we're being treated to a tsunami of new movie announcements and trailers, and now we have our first look at the sequel to the cult sleeper-hit of 2010 Hot Tub Time Machine, the appropriately named Hot Tub Time Machine 2.
All the boys are back with the exception of John Cusack whose shoes are being filled by the more than capable Adam Scott of Parks & Recreation, who joins Craig Robinson, Rob Corddry and Clark Duke as they once again engage in some timey-wimey comedy antics. This time the premise is that, thanks to Lou being shot in the nethers and killed, the boys have to jump forward in time to prevent his time-traveling assassin from coming back and killing him in the first place. As Nick says, it's like Terminator. Except the other way around. We think.
Hot Tub Time Machine 2 is set for release on December 26th.
