When we walked into the room to interview Paul Rudd, he was standing up and waiting to shake our hand. That's the kind of guy Paul Rudd is. We shook hands, exchanged pleasantries and so on. "Stretching your legs?", we asked. Trying to break the ice, you see. "No, I hate it when people are brought into these things and you're sitting down, like... a Sultan or Barry White or something." And that's when the cameraman hit record.
Look, in our defence, we basically got blindsided and ended up blabbering about soul music because it just went there. Paul Rudd's a very charismatic guy and, for whatever reason, we just kept talking about music instead of Ant-Man.
You can check out our interviews with Michael Douglas, Peyton Reed and Michael Pena for an in-depth discussion about the movie.
