What we've seen so far for Kingsman - The Secret Service has us quite excited.
For one, you get to see Mark Hamill on the big screen before this little film called Star Wars: Episode VII comes out. You've also got Colin Firth as a fairly convincing action hero and a ton of weird-and-wonderful action sequences with a lady who has swords on her feet.
Kingsman - The Secret Service sees Firth as a Kingsman, a besuited secret agent who operates "at the highest level of discretion" that takes on a young Taron Egerton as a protege.
The supporting cast includes Mark Strong, Michael Caine, Mark Hamill (as mentioned) and Sofia Boutella - not to mention Samuel L. Jackson as a lispy super-villain who messes around biological weapons.
Initial thoughts? It looks a decent enough romp and it's aware of how ridiculous it is, so that's always something.
Vaughn can do action comedy reasonably well, given his track record, so it should all work out.
Kingsman - The Secret Service is in cinemas in early 2015.
