Yes, it's finally happened, the long dreamed for Nike MAG self-lacing 'Back To The Future Part II' shoe is real.
The internet has been abuzz with 'Back To The Future' news and nostalgia today but it's this news involving Michael J. Fox that's really got the internet going.
It all started when Fox tweeted this letter he received from Nike MAG designer Tinker Hatfield about the runners and his work with the Michael J. Fox Foundation finding a cure for Parkinson's and how they're making the runners in aid of the foundation.

Then the Michael J. Fox Foundation tweeted this photo of Fox trying on the first real pair, and confirming that the MAG will be coming in 2016.

No word on price or availability but they do appear to light up and we can't imagine they don't self-lace but we'll have to wait and see.
The official Nike Mags are expected to be revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! later tonight.

Update: Here's Fox trying them on for the first time. We'd be lying if we said it didn't make us a bit emotional.
