Back in 2012, George Lucas sold Star Wars to Disney for $4 billion. Given the film has already grossed $1billion since it's release on December 18th, he's probably reconsidering the price tag, but it also seems he also has issues with how Disney remade his baby.

THR reports that, in a recent interview with Charlie Rose, Lucas says he sold his "kids" (his term for his Star Wars movies) to "The white slavers that take these things..." Strong words. He also reportedly went on to say he wasn't impressed with The Force Awakens' retro feel: "They wanted to do a retro movie. I don't like that. Every movie, I worked very hard to make them different... I made them completely different - different planets, different spaceships to make it new."

To be fair though, George, they didn't always work...

As for his involvement with The Force Awakens; Lucas told Rose he had planned on writing and directing the sequels himself, but - after he sold to Disney - they weren't that gone on his ideas: "They weren’t that keen to have me involved anyway, but if I get in there, I’m just going to cause trouble, because they’re not going to do what I want them to do. And I don’t have the control to do that anymore, and all I would do is muck everything up... And so I said, 'OK, I will go my way, and I’ll let them go their way."
