And guess what? Everyone is back.
Well not everyone (because spoilers) but a lot of the cast from the first film are back, plus we're getting Chris Pine and Christoph Waltz in the mix for good measure. Seeing as the first film grossed over $209 million worldwide, it's not surprising that they'd try to give it another go, but with so many big names on board do they really expect to make that much of a profit? Because Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis, as well as Jennifer Aniston, Jamie Foxx and Kevin Spacey and the aforementioned Captain Kirk and double Oscar-winner, all in one movie can't be that cheap. And it's a sequel, what could possibly go wrong?
Per the official synopsis:
Fed up with answering to higher-ups, Nick (Bateman), Dale (Day) and Kurt (Sudeikis) decide to become their own bosses by launching their own business in 'Horrible Bosses 2.' But a slick investor soon pulls the rug out from under them. Outplayed and desperate, and with no legal recourse, the three would-be entrepreneurs hatch a misguided plan to kidnap the investor's adult son and ransom him to regain control of their company.
Horrible Bosses is expected in Irish cinemas on November 28th.
