"The story is far from over."
Ahead of the full trailers release on Monday comes this 'trailer tease' that amounts to 15 seconds of Robin Wright talking over some very cinematic footage of Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford in action in the long-awaited(ish) sequel to Ridley Scott's 'Blade Runner'.
Here's the official synopsis:
Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
As much as we usually loathe trailers for trailers, this one we'll abide because we're just that curious (and hoping very hard that this isn't a hot mess).
'BladeRunner2049' stars Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Dave Bautista and Jared Leto and is set for release in Irish cinemas on October 6th.
