Look, it's better than the last one.
In fact, the previous one wasn't that bad, even Melissa McCarthy thought it was confusing and, well, not great. This trailer, however, is much more slicker and funnier than anything we've seen so far. Not only that, we recently got a chance to take a look at some of the footage screened at CinemaCon and what we saw gave us a lot of hope.
For one thing, there's a lot more understated comedy - like the original one - than you'll see in the promo and the interplay between McCarthy, McKinnon and Wiig feels a lot less forced like it does in this trailer. Simply put, we're hoping Ghostbusters is better than the snippets we've seen so far.
Although, we have to admit, this is a better trailer. Right, we'll shut up now. Watch the below, sound off in the comments.
Right? It IS better than the first one. Yes, we're not mad on the CGI, but it does look like there's a good film in here somewhere. Chris Hemsworth has some decent comedy chops and we also get to see Slimer!
Plus, you've also got the Ecto-1 in there.
