As we reported on a few days ago, Daniel Day-Lewis' final film has been a bit secretive.
The official title was only confirmed about two weeks ago and just this weekend saw the official plot synopsis. Today, however, sees the first trailer for Phantom Thread and gives us an idea of what Day-Lewis and Paul Thomas Anderson has in store. By all accounts, it looks markedly different from the likes of There Will Be Blood and The Master, and seems more closer to some kind of BBC period drama than something from the director of Boogie Nights.
Still, we're not complaining and you can easily expect this to feature heavily in the predictions for Oscars over the next few months. Phantom Thread is released in Ireland from February 2nd, 2018.
