From the mind behind Mad Men comes Zach Galifianakis and Owen Wilson's latest film Are You Here, an indie comedy about friendship, love and death. Light topics, you know?
Galifianakis plays Ben Baker, a somewhat strange character who inherits his estranged father's fortune and goes back to his old friend, womanizing local weatherman Steve Dallas (Wilson) to join forces with him to battle the legal challenge brought by Ben's formidable sister (Amy Poehler) over their dead father's will. It's the big-screen directorial debut for Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner, and while it didn't get massively favourable reviews when it debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival, this version attests to being quite a different version to the one from last year.
With a cast like this on board, we find it hard to believe that this could be a clunker, but then we've been scorned before.
