First it broke that David Fincher would only direct the Steve Jobs biopic if Christian Bale played Jobs, then Fincher had a disagreement with the studio, apparently over money, and all went quiet.
But when Oscar winning British director Danny Boyle came on board to helm Aaron Sorkin's script, all of a sudden Bale was in the picture again and the news of his casting has just been confirmed by Sorkin.
"We needed the best actor on the board in a certain age range and that’s Chris Bale," Sorkin said to Bloomberg below.
The last time Sorkin wrote a biopic he won an Oscar for The Social Network. We're dying to see what Bale does in this role.
The film is based on Walter Isaacson's 2011 biography
