Wall-E was the number one film at the American box-office this weekend, as the Pixar film capitalised on staggeringly positive reviews to coin just over $62 million - making it the studios third best opener of all time. Elsewhere, the fun Angelina Jolie/James McAvoy action extravaganza Wanted coined a huge $51.1 million to place in second spot - huge numbers for a restricted flick. Next week is Big Willy’s weekend as his yearly tentpole (the enjoyable Hancock) is released on Wednesday to capitalise on the holiday weekend. Expect big numbers.
