Mark Wahlberg has denied his involvement with The Crow remake, and instead signed on to work with David O Russell for the third time in video game adaptation, Uncharted.
Wahlberg has already appeared in the moody, and ultimately mediocre game flick, Max Payne, but obviously hopes Uncharted will click more with critics and audiences. O Russell and Wahlberg have just finished working on awards bait, The Fighter, while the actor will then move onto Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane's black comedy, Ted.
Uncharted will be very much a straight shoot 'em up, if the game is anything to go by anyway. O Russell seems to be putting in foot down in terms of mainstream projects, after dabbling in the existential with the likes of I Heart Huckabees. Three Kings is an absolutely brilliant film - Huckabees made my brain vomit.
