The actor's former assistant filed a lawsuit yesterday
The former personal assistant of actor Vin Diesel has filed a lawsuit that accuses him of sexual battery.
Asta Jonasson has accused Diesel, whose real name is Mark Sinclair, of forcing himself on her in an incident that allegedly took place during the filming of Fast Five in 2010.
The lawsuit filed by her yesterday claims that she was fired from the role of Diesel's assistant just hours after the incident.
Jonasson says that she was hired by the production company owned by Diesel's sister to work as his assistant in Atlanta, where the film was being shot. The lawsuit claims that she was 'groped and forcibly kissed' by Diesel in his hotel room, where she had gone to tell him it was time to leave. The actor allegedly 'molested her body' and tried to remove her underwear, as well as pinning her to a wall and forcing her to touch his genitalia.
"Terrified, Ms Jonasson closed her eyes, trying to dissociate from the sexual assault and avoid angering him," the lawsuit states.
Later that day, she received a phone call from Diesel's sister, Samantha Vincent, terminating her employment.
Jonasson is suing the e actor, his production company and his sister for alleged gender-based discrimination, hostile work environment, retaliation and wrongful termination.
Diesel has not yet responded to the allegations.
