Derry Girls' Jamie-Lee O'Donnell and The Young Offenders' Chris Walley are also among the cast
Jon Wright, who previously directed the brilliant horror-comedy 'Grabbers', has gone for the same tongue-in-cheek tone for his latest feature, called 'Unwelcome'.
The film depicts a couple who are, well, unwelcome, in their new home in rural Ireland as they fail to abide by local tradition.
Played by Hannah John-Kamen ('Black Mirror') and Douglas Booth, the couple are from London and in search of a quieter lifestyle.
Little do they realise there are malevolent, murderous goblins, referred to as "redcaps", lurking in the ancient woods nearby.
If they don't leave them a nightly "blood offering", there'll be trouble...
Co-starring in 'Unwelcome' are a plethora of Irish stars.
They include Colm Meaney, Niamh Cusack, Chris Walley of 'The Young Offenders' fame and Jamie-Lee O'Donnell from 'Derry Girls'.
Also in the cast are Lalor Roddy, who also starred in 'Grabbers', and Kristian Nairn, best-known for playing Hodor in 'Game of Thrones'.
Jon Wright co-wrote the script with Mark Stay ('Robot Overlords').
'Unwelcome' hits cinemas in 2022.
