Incoming tween fantasy film Twilight is the sixth biggest hit of all time for pre-booked ticket sales at cinemas in the US. The highly anticipated novel adaptation has sold out nearly 600 of the film’s Thursday midnight show times, causing industry insiders to talk of an opening between $30 - 60 million; a stunning result for a production with a combined cost of $37 million. The hugely popular novels fans are known for their obsessive behaviour, with the film's star Robert Pattinson claiming a 10 year old girl pleaded with him to bite her on the neck - now that's messed up. I interviewed main villain Cam Gigandet last month and you can read the interview here.
