Voice-acting's a pretty strange job when you think about it, as you're essentially imparting just one part of yourself to a performance with the rest of it being completely handled by someone else.

More recently, there's been advances made for actors to provide motion-capture for the roles they voice, but for many years, it's always been handled by separate entities. Still, when you go back to the '80s, there was one name that did the rounds for a number of cartoons, movies and TV shows - Peter Cullen.

Probably best known for voicing Optimus Prime in Transformers and Eeyore in Winnie The Pooh, Cullen has over 180 credits to his name and has done everything from Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers (he was the voice of Monterey Jack) to, quite literally, the Predator from Predator.

Yes, the guy who voiced Predator's death growl in John McTiernan's 1987 classic was also voiced Eeyore from Winnie The Pooh. Cullen told the story how he came to voice the character, the general inspiration for the character's growl, and how frustrated John McTiernan got with him because he wanted to see what the character looked like.

Take a look. It's also crazy that nearly 30 years later, he's still able to bust out the noise / voice like he did it yesterday.
