Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen opened a day in America before it broke a record - that of the biggest opening day of all time for a midweek opening. The action flick coined north of $55 million, to place in just third on the all time list behind Revenge of the Sith and The Dark Knight. The Michael Bay directed sequel is now on course to burst Spiderman 2's record $152 million opening, as analysts predict a gross closer to $170 million for the actioner.
